Jennifer Jung-Kim received her Ph.D. in Korean History from UCLA. She teaches courses on Korea and East Asia in the department of Asian Languages and Cultures, International and Area Studies, International Development Studies, and Honors programs. She is also Senior Editor on the Korean Classics Library published by the Center for Buddhist Studies with the University of Hawai'i Press. Additionally, she is the Center for Korean Studies representative to the Comfort Women Action for Redress and Education (CARE) Scholarship network.
